Public Sector

For the public sector

Secure communication and data storage in agencies, constituency offices, police command and small municipalities. Made in Germany.

We’re technically ready

We’re looking for pilot users from the public sector

VluxNet already runs stably in personal and business use today. For the public sector we’re missing exactly what can’t be developed in the lab: real use cases from administrative everyday work, real requirements, real pilot users.

Who we’re looking for: mayors of small municipalities, individual constituency offices, department heads with decision-making latitude, incident commanders who want to pilot with us. We initiate formal certifications (BSI Grundschutz, VS-NfD) together with the first pilot users — where they’re actually needed.

Block 1

Mobile communication in the field

Police patrols, fire brigade incident command, THW chapters, crisis teams. Data flow between field units and command — even when mobile networks fail.

Police incident command

Situational picture from the scene to command, image transfer between patrol cars and mobile units. Auto-hotspot when radio and mobile fail in parallel. Data stays in the local cell, doesn’t pass through third parties.

Fire brigade & THW chapter

Situation sketches, scene photos, handover protocols between incident commander, squads and station. Still works in a flood response even when the mobile network is gone.

Crisis team at city hall

During floods, power outages or cyber incidents: crisis team and field units exchange situational picture and decisions, even when normal agency IT is affected.

Secure data in administration

Citizen data, social files, building applications, personnel records. Data storage on premise — hardened with the same five layers of defense we use for law firms.

Small municipality (under 5,000 residents)

A Pi box or mini-PC at city hall is enough for the whole municipal administration. Building applications, registration data and internal communication stay in house. The mayor decides; no long IT procurement process.

Social, building and public order offices

Sensitive citizen data and consultation recordings don’t belong in foreign hands. Bastion server in the agency, case workers access it via hardened VluxPC, files and conversation documentation stay physically on premise. Same client-secrecy principle as for law firms.

Citizen contact without account requirement

Citizens don’t have to sign up at a cloud service to submit documents. A trust code is enough — the free VluxApp on a phone, done. Low barrier, especially for less tech-savvy citizens.

Block 3

Constituency offices & elected officials

Members of parliament, mandate holders and their personal staff have a particular protection need. Voter correspondence, internal coordination, travel security — areas where particular protection is needed.

Constituency office

Citizen correspondence, press appointments, constituency work. Sensitive voter concerns stay in the office, not on a Microsoft server. Still functional when cloud services strain under campaign load.

Personal staff

Data exchange between MP, capital office and constituency staff — directly between devices. No data on servers belonging to parliament’s shared IT.

Travel security

Travelling abroad with the work phone: no data in foreign clouds, no risk via insecure hotel Wi-Fi. Local access to files through an encrypted tunnel back to the constituency office.

What the public sector needs — and VluxNet delivers

Four promises that matter particularly to public agencies.

Full data sovereignty

Your data sits on your own devices. You keep full control — no foreign server, no provider looking in.

End-to-end encrypted

AES-256-GCM between sender and recipient. Nobody in the middle reads along.

Thank you.

The beta phase is starting now — with a fixed group of testers.

Beta running

Thank you to our beta testers

You're entering the beta with us while VluxNet is still young, and you're giving us your trust. You report bugs, shape features and help decide where the journey goes. That is exactly what makes the difference. From the heart: thank you.

Applications currently closed

The beta is running with a fixed group — we're not accepting further applications at this time. General availability is coming; then VluxNet will be open to everyone.
